They have a good sound. The "Lighthouse" song has the twang of Cheryl Crow a bit.
The songs on their myspace page are good. http://myspace.com/thewaifs

Most people would recognise the "London Still" song. It got a fair bit of airplay when it was released

The final of Idol will definitely be worth watching. It's going to be a close finish I think. Very hard to pick who the winner will be, and I don't think either of the finalists performed at their best last Sunday. I personally think that Natalie will win. But they're both polished performers. Matt tends to pick songs that don't suit him. He was at his best the night they all sang Jazz songs. He is exceptionally suited to singing jazz and could be very sucessfull at it, though there is a limited audience for jazz these days.

Personally, I lost a lot of interest in the comp when Tarisai was eliminated, I though she was good enough to go all the way!

I had a bit of a read through your previous posts just now and it seems that you've had more than your share of grief over the years. My sympathies on your losses.

    Terry
