FRED RAMEY "Hello Lynne, I subscribe to Google Alerts and received note from Google about a post about Doc Boggs, As you noted Doc Boggs was born just ouside of Norton Virginia. You may already know about the Doc Boggs (http://www.dockboggsfestival.com/) festival held annually at the "Country Cabin" located just ouside of Norton. I recently ran across several articles from the 1920s regarding Doc Boggs getting a record deal that I would be happy to share with you. Also, if you are interested in this style of music, you may also want to learn more about the 'The Crooked Road: Heritage Music Trail (http://www.thecrookedroad.org/) located in this part of Virginia.
